Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Columbus Dock Door Repair website at columbusdockdoorrepair.com ("the site"). By using the site or submitting a service request, you agree to these Terms.
1. What Columbus Dock Door Repair Is
The site operates as a commercial-only service request line for loading dock and overhead door work in Columbus and Central Ohio. The site is not the contractor and does not directly perform repair or maintenance work. Submitted requests are routed to an independent local commercial dock and door provider when service area, equipment capability, schedule, documentation requirements, and commercial scope line up.
2. Commercial Service Requests Only
The site is intended for commercial and industrial facilities. Residential garage door requests, home garage door openers, boat docks, marina docks, automatic pedestrian doors, storefront glass, and DIY parts-only requests are not handled. By submitting a request, you confirm you represent a commercial or industrial facility.
3. Service Providers Are Independent Businesses
Repair work is performed by an independent local commercial dock and door service provider operating under their own business name, license, insurance, warranty, invoicing, and employment relationships. The provider is not an employee, agent, partner, or joint venturer of Columbus Dock Door Repair. Provider identity is shared with you before service is scheduled.
4. No Guaranteed Provider Availability
Submission of a request does not constitute acceptance of the request, an agreement to schedule a provider, or a guarantee of provider availability, response time, parts availability, or pricing. Provider, ETA, and rate structure are confirmed before service is scheduled. We do not publish or guarantee a fixed response-time SLA.
5. Emergency Requests
If equipment is unsafe, stuck open, stuck closed, damaged after impact, leaking, or out of service, stop using the affected dock, door, restraint, or leveler where safe to do so and call the commercial service line. Emergency or after-hours response is subject to provider availability and is not guaranteed. Columbus Dock Door Repair does not operate its own 24/7 contractor dispatch department. The site collects urgent commercial intake and routes suitable requests to a commercial provider when provider availability, service area, equipment capability, documentation requirements, and schedule line up.
6. Information You Submit
You agree to provide accurate facility, contact, and equipment information when submitting a request. Inaccurate facility addresses, incorrect equipment descriptions, or missing access information can delay scheduling and increase cost. You are responsible for the content you submit and for confirming you have authority to submit it on behalf of the facility.
7. Photos and Sensitive Information
Do not submit Social Security numbers, payment information, employee records, medical information, or sensitive personal documents through the form. If you send photos, avoid including paperwork, people, payment information, badge numbers, or proprietary facility documents in the frame. Columbus Dock Door Repair is not responsible for sensitive information you choose to submit.
8. Call Tracking, Recording, and Transcription
Calls placed to the phone number on the site are routed through a third-party call-tracking service (CallRail). Calls may be recorded or transcribed for quality control, request handling, attribution, and service-provider coordination. If recording or transcription is enabled, a notice may be played at the beginning of the call. By continuing with the call after notice is given, you consent to recording and/or transcription where permitted by law.
9. Lead Routing and Compensation
The relationship between Columbus Dock Door Repair and the provider that a request is routed to may include lead-routing or referral compensation. This does not change pricing for the work itself, which is set by the dispatched provider and confirmed before work begins.
10. Quotes, Rates, Invoices, and Payment
Pricing for any commercial dock or door work is set by the dispatched provider and confirmed with you before work begins. Invoicing and payment are handled by the dispatched provider under their normal billing terms. Columbus Dock Door Repair does not invoice for the repair work and does not collect payment for the repair work.
11. No Workmanship Warranty by Columbus Dock Door Repair
Any warranty on parts, labor, or workmanship is provided by the dispatched provider per their normal practices. Columbus Dock Door Repairdoes not warrant the repair, parts, labor, workmanship, suitability, or performance of any work performed by the dispatched provider.
12. Facility Access and Safety
You are responsible for providing safe site access, accurate equipment access information, and required facility safety orientation, badging, or escort access. You agree not to require the dispatched provider to perform work in a manner that violates applicable safety law, OSHA standards, NFPA standards, or generally accepted industry safety practice.
13. Documentation Requirements
If your facility requires certificates of insurance, additional-insured endorsements, MSAs, vendor onboarding paperwork, W-9s, or similar documentation, mention it during intake. The dispatched provider will confirm what they can supply before service is scheduled. Documentation is issued by the provider, not by Columbus Dock Door Repair.
14. Manufacturer Names and Trademarks
Manufacturer names referenced on the site, including but not limited to Rite-Hite, Serco, Kelley, McGuire, Pentalift, Blue Giant, Nordock, Poweramp, Overhead Door Corporation, Raynor, Wayne Dalton Commercial, CornellCookson, Rytec, Albany, Hörmann, and ASSA ABLOY, are referenced solely to identify equipment for intake purposes.
